I personally “match machine” the Engine Block and Cylinder Heads to Perfection
On my Vertical Mill. I also align bore the case, and replace all 12 oil galley plugs..
The engine block is cleaned at the airport machine shop in San Antonio
In special chemicals..
Also I have my crankshafts and flywheels balanced together as one rotating assembly
and the Connecting Rods are also balanced..
End Play set perfectly. All new seals and bearings obviously..
THE CRATE: Building the crate takes just under $100 in materials an additional labor fee.
So the total crate cost is approximately $150.
FREIGHT COST: I take the crate to San Antonio shipping terminal where shipping prices vary.

YOUR OLD ENGINE: What do I expect ?
To get your core charge refunded I must end up with a
"reusable-refurbishable" Engine case, a Crankshaft that will turn to 10/10,
connecting rods and all the engine hardware. I do not need the old cylinder heads and pistons and cylinders.
because I always replace those components..
You must have a 2.0L LongBlock Core to trade-in.
Otherwise you will have to pay a core charge. Call for more information.
